Homeowner & Condo Associations

Conflicts occasionally occur within condominium and homeowner associations. Association members sometimes fail to pay their dues. The Board of Directors may not be carrying out its responsibilities in managing the association. There may also be disputes between individual association members.

Clark provides legal counsel to condominium, timeshare, and homeowner associations on a range of matters including disclosure obligations, collection of assessments, preparation and negotiation of vendor contracts, common area maintenance and repair, and corporate governance.

He also advises associations regarding the preparation, interpretation and enforcement of association governing documents such as bylaws, declarations, rules and regulations, management contracts, construction agreements, and budgets. As with each of his clients, Clark handles the legal needs of associations in an efficient, professional, and cost-effective manner.
